Fr. John Burke was born in 1859. He was in the Dunmore Deanary in 1890. He was PP of Williamstown before being transferred to Menlough. He became PP of Menlough in 1908 and remained there until his death on March 21st. 1921 at the age of 62 years. He is laid to rest in Menlough Church Grounds.
