So here I am again hoping to find that the Costello pub has opened. .Plan to visit Ireland in Sept. Would love to show my nieces where their Great grandfather Thomas Costello lived. The Pub would be a great starting point.
You are right, we are distantly related. I dont think though that you are a relative of the Costello’s that own the pub though.

Thank you Gerry for the prompt answer. I think you are a distant relatives also. MY grandfather was Thomas costelló oldest son of Briget Mannion and Denis Costelló. I have visited skehana to see MY fathers First cousins Thomas and Lena (now deceased). Someday I Will bé back.
At present the pub is closed. It is still there as a building and could re-open at some future date. The present owner is Ferghal Costello. He has pland to re-open again in the future.
IS the costelló pub in Skehana still open. I AM a distant relative in North Carolina.
