Skehana Hurling Club

This section strikes a puck by puck account of a golden period in the long and rich history of Skehana Hurling Club. This era, 2004-2008, saw the bonding of enduring individuals, both on and off the field of play, and whose varied talents annexed 7 trophies to being on the verge of Intermediate hurling and seconds from playing on the hallowed Croke Park sod. Alas the latter two were not to be, for now, but the matches, stories and memories will always be. These are extracted from match reports as published in local printed media but primarily in The Tuam Herald and we hope you get the same enjoyment recalling this journey that we do in bringing it to you.
