At the EU Business News Irish Enterprise Awards 2018 on April 18th 2018, Gerry Costello, Skehana, Menlough, Ballinasloe was named “The most creative Wedding Photographer 2018”. Our photograph shows Gerry after receiving his awards certificate and trophy at the presentation function held in The City West Hotel, Dublin. In the short citation just before the presentation, Gerry was hailed as “an inspiration and mentor to the new generation of photographers. He is most generous with his time, help and advice and in the sharing of his expertise, particularly in the field of wedding photography”.

The Irish Enterprise Awards were established to recognize the contribution to the economy made by Ireland’s business activity. Speaking at the awards ceremony in the Citywest Hotel, Dublin, Kathleen Benton, Awards Coordinator commented “It has been a true privilege to showcase and recognize the hard work and commitment of all of these deserving winners from across Ireland, and I would like to offer them our heartiest congratulations. Every one of our winners can be certain that their success is deserved as each year our awards committee evaluates an individual’s performance over the last twelve months to ensure that only the most deserving parties walk away with one of our prestigious awards.
