Let us pause for a moment and remember some of the people of this locality who have gone before us and who shaped the landscape and the community in which live in today where their lives, presence and work has contributed so much. We share some photographs of those people who have passed on. From time to time this page will be updated so do drop in again and again to view once familiar faces.

Great idea to print some photos of those who shaped your community. Something we might replicate in Killererin.
Wow, this certainly brought a tear to my eye. I am not from the Skehana area but my mother was and I spent a lot of my life around that area. I remember a lot of those people and am very sad to see their faces here today. RIP.
I would like to send on some photographs and am wondering what is your contact email address, please. Mary J Murphy (formerly of Derrylissane and Ballinruane House), thank you.
Thank you for the gallery of photos. Skehana was my home parish and I recognize and have fond memories of so many of these wonderful people . . . including my own family members – Catherine, John and Peggy. May they all rest in everlasting peace and joy.
Brid Ruane (Sister Katrina)
