Fr Rhattigan was from Musicfield, Milltown, Co. Galway. On leaving Skehana in 1884 Fr Rhattigan was transferred to Kilbannon. In 1912 he was Adm in Innisboffin when his brother Thomas passed away at the age of 80. In July 1919 he was CC in Williamstown and was moved to Kilkerrin as CC. He was in Clonberne/Kilkerrin in 1921. His sister, Honoria Cunnane passed away on March 25th. 1919.
